Many hotels and cruises are expanding their beverage programs to compliment their top-shelf labels with their own original spirits. By offering exclusive batches of whiskey, gin, aguardientes, rum, or wine; these properties are going beyond the standard curated collection to offer guests a taste you genuinely cannot find anywhere else.
By prioritizing local sourcing and ancestral methods, these properties are redefining the guest experience while empowering local artisans. These standout properties are giving travelers an entirely unique taste of the region through these signature house pours:
Cashel Palace, Ireland | Gin & Whiskey
Casa di Langa, Italy | Wine
Delfin Amazon Cruises, Peru | Amazonian Aguardiente
Cashel Palace, Ireland | Gin & Whiskey
Cashel Palace, a five-star luxury hotel overlooked by the Rock of Cashel in Tipperary, proudly serves spirits that capture the essence of Ireland. As the storied birthplace of Guiness, the Palace Garden still contains the original 1700s hop plants used by Richard Guinness. Today, Cashel Palace brings their locally sourced ethos to its spirits program with its very own Irish gin and whiskey. Working closely with Tipperary Boutique Distillery, local artisans in modern Irish distilling, the estate has crafted two spirits rooted in Tipperary’s legacy, produced just 30 minutes from the palace.
The first creation, Mulberry Gin, uses local ingredients subtly infused with mulberries, a nod to the mulberry trees planted in the garden in 1702. The newest chapter is a Three Year Old Irish Pot Still Whiskey, created in collaboration with Coolmore Farms using homegrown Tipperary barley harvested from the lands that surround the Rock of Cashel. Matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, this exclusive whiskey reveals, luxurious profile of dried fruit, dark chocolate, figs, toffee and warm spice.
Casa di Langa, Italy | Wine
Casa di Langa, located in the Alta Langa region of Piedmont, Italy, grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on its sustainable 42-hectare estate. These grapes are harvested and sent to their sister winery, Enrico Serafino, to be transformed into high-quality Alta Langa DOCG sparkling wines. The property is situated in a prime location surrounded by the very vineyards that feed the region's renowned wine culture.
Guests can roam the on-site vineyards before heading to the hotel’s Wine Academy to master the nuances of Piemonte’s terroir. To highlight these exclusive tastes, the hotel concierge arranges private tastings and tours at Enrico Serafino, providing guests with authentic access to the region’s renowned traditions and lasting legacy as winemakers.
Delfin Amazon Cruises, Peru | Amazonian Aguardiente
Delfin Amazon Cruises connects guests with the rainforest though exclusive aguardientes macerated with ingredients sourced directly from the Amazon. Using a base of premium sugarcane aguardiente from Iquitos, the spirits follow the traditional method of slow maceration of native barks and roots. The use of these Amazonian mercados stems from the traditional method of extracting the medicinal properties of the Amazon’s vast plant species, a practice dating back thousands of years among Indigenous peoples. Delfin’s collection of 10 various aguardientes serves the cultural preservation of these practices, particularly the fundamental ritual brews within Indigenous communities.
The collection features rare infusions such as Seven Roots, a blend of Huaca Puruna, Chichuhuasi, and Cat’s Claw , crafted for its energizing properties, and Fierro Caspi, sourced from the “Iron Tree” and known for its intense, woody profile. Each pour offers an exclusive taste of the Amazon’s culture, emphasizing the deep legacy of Iquitos' local tradition and the biodiversity of the Amazon.
