Alyeska Resort Joins the Ikon Pass Community for Winter 23/24, Becoming Its First Destination in Alaska

Girdwood, AK (April 18, 2023): Alyeska Resort is pleased to announce they will be joining the Ikon Pass community, bringing the Alaskan basecamp for adventure to Ikon Pass holders for winter 23/24. Ikon Pass offers access to 56 global destinations and spring skiing at select destinations across North America. Alyeska Resort joins Ikon Pass as the first mountain to be offered in Alaska. With access to seven days at Alyeska Resort with no blackout dates, Ikon Pass holders can enjoy the ultimate access, while Ikon Base Pass holders will have access to five days, with select blackout dates. Alyeska Resort is also available on the Ikon Session Pass.

A winter playground for all levels of skiers and riders, Alyeska Resort is located just 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska in Chugach State Park, offering glacier-filled vistas and Northern Light sightings. In the winter, guests have access to 1,610 skiable acres including the longest double black diamond run in North America. The mountain is home to a 40-passenger aerial scenic tram with panoramic views, 76 trails, and over 669 inches of snow annually, plus seven dining experiences, including Seven Glaciers, a AAA Four Diamond Award restaurant with unparalleled views overlooking seven hanging glaciers. 

 

Alyeska Resort is the perfect base camp for endless adventure and relaxation. Skiers can also enjoy Alaska’s first-ever Nordic Spa, offering a way to disconnect to reconnect and experience a 50,000 sq. ft. series of outdoor hot and cold Hydrotherapy pools, massage treatments, and wellness offerings. Guests with reservations for Hydrotherapy Access can relax and unwind for up to 12 hours a day. The traditions of Nordic spas provide great health benefits which include soothing sore muscles, creating a stronger immune system, reducing inflammation, and releasing endorphins.
