Pioneers of the Galapagos tented camp experience

As a land-based alternative to cruising, guests experience safaris that are flexibly designed to immerse guests in the surrounding environment. Galapagos Safari Camp minimizes environmental impact while embracing warm hospitality, challenging the notions of luxury travel in the archipelago.

unique fact

Galapagos Safari Camp holds the distinction of being the first of its kind in Latin America. Modeled after the traditional African safari, the camp's design offers guests the most immersive, intentional connection with the Galapagos’ ecosystems.

SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainable practice is an integral part of Galapagos Safari Camp, evidenced by its holistic approach to local conservation and resource management. Leading by example, the founders engineered the island’s first rainwater harvesting system, reducing the carbon footprint from water transportation. Through the Galapagos Petrel Project, the camp proactively protects the critically endangered seabird through habitat restoration, predator management, and innovative acoustic attraction technology. Beyond conservation, the camp also supports local industries through its partnership with To’ak Chocolate, producing the world’s first Galapagos-origin chocolate bar, while aiding their mission to "preserve the rarest and most prized cacao variety on earth.”
