A world-renowned destination for those who love nature and trekking, this new lodge by Explora opening Dec 15, 2021, has been strategically built within the Los Huemules Conservation Reserve. Guests can hike, climb, bike and explore amidst the Argentinean Patagonia where natural rock, mountain, and an ice amphitheater offers countless territories to be explored. The lodge menu will encompass seasonal raw materials purchased from small farmers, produced with agroecological standards and wild-harvested products, and is designed by two well-known Argentinine chefs Pablo Jesús Rivero and Guido Tassi. The 20 room lodge is the expedition company’s first foray west of the Andes with views of the mythical Mount Fitz Roy.

 

Nomadic Camp is a new luxury camp that caters to parties of 2 up to 100. The camp is the first of its kind in Argentina and is a game-changer for anyone seeking comfortable accommodation in the country’s wildest corners. 35 luxury safari-style tents, all with either single and double beds, eco bathrooms, and warm water showers can be set up anywhere in Argentina from a remote island in Neuquen to the foothills of Mendoza or the Puna Desert of Catamarca. With a focus on sustainability – the camp aims to leave no trace, only hires local staff, and consumes local produce. The more remote the better!

CHILE

Explora Connects, a private charter service, will begin offering flights in a Beechcraft King Air, a twin-turboprop aircraft sized to transport up to six travelers to create an Explora Patagonia Circuit. Bridging the mountainous distances between Torres del Paine and Patagonia National Park in Chile these flights allow guests to travel seamlessly utilizing air transfers which will now only take 5 hours in total travel time and used to take 20 hours using other options. They can be combined with land transfers between Explora Torres del Paine and the new Explora El Chaltén lodges to create an 8 or 12-night journey.

A one-of-a-kind expedition vessel that offers guests the opportunity to explore the most remote corners of Chilean Patagonia.
